dont try and deal with them by yourself, go to the nearest American Legion or VFW post and ask for representation. They don't charge and carry alot of clout with the VA, they also dont read from a script like most va councilors do. I know I run a couple of therapy groups at the VA!

You can call your local VA center and meet with a VA counselor regarding this matter any time you like. If that's not your cup of tea, then contact your local VFW person, and they can intervene for you.

You can also go onto their website and type in a general question that will get you a general answer. I'd opt for the face to face.
