The area that you have your previous tattoo is almost like a scar...it's going to react to new ink differently than normal un-tattoo'd skin. Just give it some time to react to the ink and to heal. I think it will be just fine. If after it scabs and heals you think that you can still see the name, go back in and get it retouched. Most artists retouch for free. They won't be able to do anything for you until it heals anyways... Good luck!!!

Since you only got the tat done yesterday, you have to wait for the colors to blend and dry...it may take quite sometime...I did the same thing with initials...I know stupid! lol...but the cover up is great and here's a secret....You will ALWAYS know it is there, but others won't, so in hindsight, because you know what to look for and where it is, you might always be able to see it...even though someone else can't!
Good luck, and do not worry!

I have a few white on a tattoo. It has light a few however now not that dangerous, however along with your tattoo it possibly extra seen on account that it's going to have extra white than mine. But, I believe with the tattoo you desire you should utilize the white, due to the fact I have yet another tattoo that I will have to have placed white in it and I by and large ultimately will due to the fact I believe it's going to seem bigger than the traditional colour of my dermis. Hope that is helping!

Give it time to heal. The new piece is still fresh, so don't sweat it just yet. Most of the time, it will go away on it's own.
After the shop opens, talk to the artist who did the inking. Let him/her see it, and make sure they are willing to fix it for free if it doesn't go away in a few weeks as you heal. Most artists are willing to do touch ups for free on new tattoos.

Sometimes when you get a tat to cover up an existing one, it might take more than one visit. Did they tell you you might have to go back? If they didn't, go back when they're open and show them. Then tell them that you don't think you should have to pay for any more additional work on it since they didn't do it right the first time. And no more names unless it's your parents or kids!

If it is another shade of blue, you will still see it. I would suggest asking the tattoo artist to see if they can match the blue and do some extra shading there.
Good luck!

See if they can cover it up in black. As long as they didn't guarantee it or that you couldn't get your money back they should be more than happy to fix it for you.

And that is why getting a tattoo is not a good idea. Someday you will change your mind about the sun too, and wish you didn't have it either.

the person that did your tattoo of the name drilled to deep into your skin, that is why it raises up. you probly have to tell the one that did the sun to drill the sun deeper, but the sun will raise too.
