No chance, all the evidence points away from it, pictures, shadow etc, why can nobody see the moon buggy from a telescope, yet we can see millions of miles away.
More to the point why do NASA say it will be at least another 20 years before we are able to go again ;if we could do it nearly 40 years ago why not now?

Of course. It was either the Discovery Channel or the History Channel which did a show on the different conspiracy theories about us going to the moon. They were able to debunk each one:

1. You can't see stars in the pictures, so it had to be done on a soundstage (they took pictures in the desert in Nevada, and because of the lighting on the "astronauts," you couldn't see them there, either).

2. The flag waves, so there must be wind (it only moved when the astronauts touched it, and it was made to stand out).

3. The Eagle didn't kick up dust when it landed (they slowed down so much that they were barely moving when they landed).

4. The shadows from different rocks look like they're actually coming from more than one light source, because they are different angles (the exact same thing happened when they used a single light source here on Earth).

5. If we had left junk up there, we could see it from Earth (by comparison to the size of the moon, the junk is very small. Besides, we CAN see some of the things we left--an observatory in the Southwest uses three light sources left by the astronauts to triangulate the distance between the Earth and the moon).

Also, the Russians were watching us like hawks, and they had spy satellites everywhere. If we hadn't really gone, they would have known, and talk about a Cold War coup!

And I wouldn't tell the astronauts they hadn't really been there. One time a conspiracy theorist got in Buzz Aldrin's face and accused him of not really going to the moon--Buzz hit him.

Of course he did along with 11 others. This was evidenced by the fact that just about every country in the world monitored the flight, landing, transmissions, take-off and return flight. I was able to see some of this at Jodrell Bank in Cheshire, England, one of the best radio telescopes in the world. Remember at the time that the USA was very much opposed to Russia during the 'Cold War' and the 'space race' was hotting up. Both powers hoped to be able to control weapons from space hence the rapid advance in technology between 1945 and 1969 which allowed the landings to take place.

Just think logically. Do you really think that Russia and it's allies would not have exposed any fake landings for what they were if they had not actually taken place? Of course they would. They actually acknowledged the landings as they knew that they had lost the space race and that future rocket and missile technological advances very much put the USA in the driving seat.

None of the theories of a Hollywood style fake had any substance and' let's be fair, radar and radio tracking doesn't lie.

Is this a serious question? What would cause you to beileve that he did not walk on the moon? At least 100 million Americans living today watched him walk on the moon. This is not some made up Harry Potter Legend.

We did it for prestige against the communists to show which government was more effective. How a moon race would prove anything, I don't know know, and don't believe it accomplished it's goals, but it did really happen.

Yes..

As a matter of fact, a 40-year controversy has been settled at last - his first words didn't make sense 'That's one small step for man, a giant leap for mankind'
Now a Canadian techie has analysed the tape and proved that he really did say 'One small step for A man'

Well, this is the trivia section!

Yes I do.

The whole conspiracy theory is a bit amusing really. Flag waving blah blah blah.

Some people have too much time on their hands. Next they will be telling us that the US government invented Aids and HIV for some malevolent purpose. Come on people!
