Depends. Macs are typically more expensive. Folks that use Macs are artsy and do a good deal of blogging, Flickr sharing and whatnot. There are fewer exploits for the Mac but don't let the commercials make you feel you can't get a virus or have your security comprimised. There are many more software titles for the PC.

it depends. i've actually honestly have never used macs before but from what i hear, it's good for people who are planning on doing alot of graphics stuff on there. things like photo/video editing. i don't know the reason why but that's what people have told me.

personally, i would just get a pc because that's what i've been using ever since i started using a computer and would be a little lost if i got a mac, but that's just me.

Mac are good for designing and for music but PC are easier to use... so I guess I'm a little torn about which is better, b/c it depends

That's like asking if you should be a Muslim or a Christian. You are about to witness the bashing from both sides.

For me, always a PC. I could never get past the fact that there was not an eaisly accessible command line interface.

PC, they are better at suring the web, and at playing games. being this computer is for personal use, you will be far better off.
