Amazon.com has a listing for a paperback book entitled:
A Field Guide to the Tracks and Signs of Southern and East African Wildlife. I found a description of the book that suggests they give the dimensions of the tracks.

for the sake of price comparison, try this site, also. http://www.addall.com/detail/1868127648.html

I found a CD ROM that you might find useful, also: http://www.african-hunter.com/ultimate_mammals.htm

Here is a site on-line that actually relates to embroidery, but has wonderful information about African wildlife tracks and identification. I don't find dimensions, but the information is fascinating. http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/new.aspx?date=100202

A list of on-line resources can be found at http://www.cs.umb.edu/Researches/Publications/PDFs/TR-01-03.pdf . In the US, you can connect to several on-line field guides by going to http://www.enature.com/home/ . From this site, I found CyberTracker. Very cool, although it appears to deal with North American animals, including birds and insects. At this site ( http://www.cybertracker.co.za/ ) you can learn about tracking, recognizing gates, and measuring tracks. There is an animal tracks key there, and a worksheet to help you figure out what type of animal you are tracking. They have withing the CyberTracker site a link to zoo animals and identifying their tracks, which may be something that will help you.

If you have time, I would suggest you page through the stuff offered at CyberTracker. It really appears to have a wealth of information that would be useful to you in your search.

Good luck.
