I would check with a doctor they can tell you if there are any tests that you need now. If there are make sure to get a copy of the medical records so that once you return to your country you will not have to repeat those tests. I just went through a similiar situation when I moved from one state to another.

You will have to take the standard tests that all pregnant women take. Depending on what country you are coming from will tell the doctors what tests you need to be tested for. Please keep a journel of what is going on where you are now. It may help you later. There may be an outreak of some sort in your area before you got there or after you leave. Never know.

I would take "multi prenatal vitamins" with some folic acid, and see there doctor immediately but I would NOT any of there medicine if I did not trust these people. (why are you in a country where you do not trust the doctors). I think it is bad for the baby's health to wait other 40 days, but...it is your call. I would at least see if everything is okay with the baby.

No mandatory tests, but if you are not going to see a doctor until you get home, go to a pharmacy and get pre-natal vitamins. These will help you keep healthy, and help with the health of your baby. Congratulations.

Most Dr's dont start prenatal care until about 6 weeks anyway. I would wait until you go back to your own doctor.
