Yes, broke both bones on my left forearm when I was 10, and broke a toe bone (metatarsal) when I was 30.

Have you?

I fractured my leg (tibia - just missed my knew by 1 cm!) in a freak accident 7 years ago, had a surgery to get a plate inserted, went through painful physiotherapy and am doing reasonably OK now (provided I exercise everyday). My doc tells me I can have arthristis later on :-(

One year after the Bulls won the NBA Finals everybody in Chicago, where I'm from, was really excited and I was really young and excited too (I didn't know why). Apparently in honor of the celebration I decided that it'd be a good idea to do a flip-flip... well, I flipped... and flopped... and broke my left arm. It wasn't a pretty thing.

I've broken more than have remained unbroken.

I got 11 separate beaks in one bike prang.

That hurt.

I broke all my bones in my left ankle, so now I have pins and metal bars holding them together. Painful in the winter, and cold nights. OUCH!!!!
