Hey there Chuck: Lets see if I can help you out :)

1. Click to the right hand side of the text (http://.....etc), INSIDE the white address bar, and you'll notice there is a blinking curser that comes up.

2. Hit the "Delete" key on a Macintosh, or the "Backspace" key on a PC (the type of computer you most likely have). This of course is going to be on your keyboard.

3. Re-type in where you are trying to go, ie. www.yahoo.com
NOTE: there is no need to type in "http://"

**********************
Now in the off chance, you're speaking about a homepage you'd like to create/delete do this:

- bring up the webpage you'd like to make you're homepage
- go to the "tools menu" then "internet options", then click on "use current".
-at this point you can also delete the webpage that's there, and not have a homepage.

***Hope this helps you out Chuck! Have a fantastic day!***

If you are talking about sites you have visited, you want to clear "history."

click Tools
cl Internet Options
Delete Files (check "offline files")
Clear History
set days to keep pages in history to 0

When you shutdown, your history will be cleared up to that point.
At next power-on, as you surf, you will begin to build a history. You can periodically go to Tools, Internet Options, and clear history, or wait until shutdown.

You can also,
cl Tools
cl Internet Options
cl Content
cl Autocomplete
Carefully set options.

Go to your control panel, double click "internet options". The box that states "Internet Properties" will pop up. Under "history", click "clear history". All of the websites on your address bar should be deleted now.
