I never thought about it like that.
I guess the Sahara Desert Island.

How about the Mojave Desert Island?

(Doyathink they just meant deserted instead of desert?)

I always have trouble deciding if it is spelled desert or dessert - which means I have eaten a lot of sand in my time!!

It is suppose to be deserted island not desert. If you knew that and just wanted to know what desert then I would pick the Gobi. Don't know why, just like the sound of the name.
