me and him have been best friends for years and when i'm with him or talk to him it feels like i'm a someone and not part of everyone and we have both admitted to eachother that we care for eachother but i don't want to ruin what we already have. we actually dated when i was in ninth grade but he broke it off because he misinterpreted what i had said to him one day and he didn't speak to me for a while but then i called him and now everything is wonderful. i plan on going to las vegas, where he recently moved, when i get out of school and i'm gonna stay for a week or two and he can't wait, neither can i.

If you are both in agreement that you have feelings for each other, maybe taking some baby steps towards a relationship may be a good start. I think it all depends on how strong those feelings are. Are they strong enough that you both are willing to risk losing that friendship? People who go from a freinds basis to more sometimes do change. Become less open, not sure what they can say or not say, etc.

If you're both in love with each other then you should try taking it to the next level. It might not work, but at least you'll know. If your freindship is that strong you'll be able to go back to being friends. If not, then your friendship was really only based on the fact that you were attracted to each other anyway. Love is the most important thing there is, it's worth the risk.

i think if u r friends an u both fall in love it is better for the relationship. it is so important to be able to talk to each other. so if u really think he feels the same as u take a chance it might be the best thing u ever did in ur life.

As long as you don't become all insecure and jealous on him, you won't ruin anything. He doesn't even live anywhere near you so do you. But wait for him to initiate something with you. And let it flow. Don't rush him into anything. Let him lead the way. Therefore, you won't ruin anything by jumping to conclusions. And you never know, his intentions might be different then yours. So just wait to see what he does.

It's best to just stay friends. If you cross that line to lovers and it doesn't work out, you can never go back to how it was before.
