I always thought it would be a waste to throw away bars of soap and have empty shampoo bottles. What measures do most hotels and motels do to recycle them?

No measures taken to recycle.... It is cost of doing business. It goes into the Garbage. Can't recycle everything because of hygiene reasons... Would you like you Shampoo bottle to be refilled from other ppl's leftover? What if they had dropped their Shampoo in the toilet?

They throw them away. That would be disgusting if they recycled them. I would not want to use them if I knew they were recycled.
