nightmare?

the love of my life cheating on me before I knew he was the love of my life. But I was ver hurt. And He didn't even say, I just knew he had cheated. Why would I dream this? I am watching halloween movies, but they aren't nightmares. Plus I'm too old. Is it because of my feelings in real life?(no, no cheating, he wouldn't cheat, I'm not w him yet so it couldn't be unless it was he has a gf and I feel like that?)
