Bill Clinton was (and still is) one of the most effective fundraisers the US has ever seen. He has powerful friends - and those friends make Hillary more powerful as long as she hangs.

Remember thr Whitewater scandal? They were going to build a resort in Arkansas and they went bankrupt befor they even hired a surveyor or bought a single board. Well, it was Hillary's law firm, not Bill's that was behind it. By Bill acting out with Monica, it kept the media away from Hillary. The people get a good show, and Hillary doesn't get investigated for fraud. He's more loyal to her than people give him credit for.

"Cave man from hell" really seems to have hit right on it . Hillary seemed to relish the chance to be the pitiful wife "sticking by her man" . It cast her in a softer light...for the moment . She was able to get her "deals" ..sort of a blank check ..for agreeing to stand by Bill -as in the Gennifer Flowers affair . She took the office in the West Wing ( usually reserved for Vice Presidents ) as one of her "deals"-which caused Al Gore to blow a gasket-thus.."The Presidents Clinton were late to the inauguration , when Gore learned of Hillary's dirty trick . As President , Bill has the contacts Hillary would need on her quest for power .Speculation has it that one reason Bill pardoned 16 FALN terrorists ( who terrorized the U.S. with some 120 bombs , maiming & killing , mainly in New York & Chicago )-on his last day in office , so Hillary would not loose the Puerto Rican vote , running for senator .

They are quite a bit alike.... both are liars... both are leftists... both, by most appearances, have been shown to be of criminal intent and mentality.

both show bad judgment... bill by dallying with other women while in office, hillary by supporting bill's adultery and staying married to him.... it really doesn't appear that they are together all that much.... and bill would definitely hurt hilly's chances at office if she allowed him to present his pie hole around her too often out in public. And, if the scandal rags are correct, bill is cozy with yet another woman... poor ole hilly, home alone... maybe she prefers it that way...

There is nothing she or bill could do to earn my vote.... never.... When lefty bill and lefty Algore were nominated, I immediately said good-bye to the Democratic Party.... Carter nauseated me with his wimpyness and over the line lefty crap.... but when two who I considered to be far left(as close to communists as they could get without declaring), the last straw was loaded... it broke the Donkey's back.... I will never go back.... the Democrats are toast in my book....

before everything, darlin, this is totally strange which you assert, "no person tells her she could have left him." a million) you have no longer any way of understanding what people in her existence suggested. 2) Strangers suggested that to her virtually continuously while it exceeded off. virtually continuously. Why are you ignoring those 2 info with the intention to make a element (in step with an misguided premise?) 2nd, a marriage to a guy is extremely diverse than club/marriage to a church. A church isn't one man or woman; a church isn't one pastor. people have time-honored Obama's selection. basically no longer all of us. basically as people have time-honored Clinton's selection. basically no longer all of us. There are people who won't vote for her because of the fact she did no longer flow away invoice. So... what the hell are you speaking approximately? Oh, and by using ways, shop up on the headlines. Had the pastor no longer retired, Obama could have left the church. How does THAT actuality in fantastic condition into your little framework of falsehoods?

"The most difficult decisions I have made in my life were to stay married to Bill and to run for Senate from New York," she writes.

When Hillary chose to forgive and stay with her husband, a lot of cynics came out of the woodwork. Some saw her as a power hungry individual who only stayed by Bill's side for her own political gain. Others saw her decision as a betrayal to women-kind, believing that any independent women would cast off the adulterer and live a life free of further womanizing scandals. The list of cynical reasons suggested for her decision is almost too long to list here.

"I was dumbfounded, heartbroken and outraged that I'd believed him at all," she wrote. Adding that ultimately, she decided she still loved him. But how could she believe him after his long string of affairs with various women, such as Jennifer Flowers?

She admits that there was a bitter chill between them for months and that they barely spoke to each other. Apparently her decision to run for a Senate seat from New York provided a healing bridge for them.

By staying married she made herself appear strong and forgiving.

If she divorced him she would have appeared to be a spiteful wench. Not good when you plan to run for president.

She scares me, ambitious woman who will do anything to gain power and prestige. She once complained about intrusion of privacy. She said, "We are the president." She already considered herself as president when Bill was in office.
When someone is in public office they must be answerable to the whole country. I know they would like their privacy but the public has the right to know what kind of people are living off the tax dollars that are extricated from our paychecks.

UGH

That marriage is convenient for the both of them. There is no love there, and hasn't been for years. Bill is no more a liability than Hillary is. Actually bill gives Hillary credibility. If she didn't have bill she would be just be a single hate filled lesbian trying to get to the white house.

Doubtless there's way more to it than just politics & careers.

When my first husband cheated on me, I flat out refused to believe what was going on. My friends all tried to warn me, and the signs were right there for me to see (staying out all night and what not).

Still, until he admitted to my face that he'd cheated, I would not believe it. In fact, I didn't even ask him if he was cheating, he offerred the information in the course of asking for a separation. And I STILL would have stayed with him & tried to work things out, but he insisted on leaving.

Long story short, my guess would be that it is more personal than political. Even a tough, educated, independent woman like Hillary (or me, for that matter) can be committed to keeping a vow, even in the face of that kind of treatment.

This is a personal and complicated matter. I believe she stayed for reason deeper than just his or her career. Being married (and staying committed through an adulterous affair) shows that one is willing to work to solve conflicts and stick it out through tough times. This attribute serves a politician well.
