I have a great testimonial from a teen age boy that tried Proactiv and several things with a dermatologist and what ended up working for him was Mary Kay Velocity Skin Care. I can send you a pdf with the before/after pictures and his mother's testimonial. Just contact me on my web site and I'll be glad to email it to you.

Well it really depends on the person and they're skin type. Yes proactiv did and still does work for me. I will admit that yes I did still get afew pimples from time to time but not actual patches or breakouts. When I do get afew pimples it's usually because of A. my period , B. the summer humidity , or C. if I am going through a phase inwhich I work out and excersise alot, and don't shower enough.

*one more thing* twice a day really is key. Normally I thought people were being silly and overdone, but with recent experiences, my face really is more acne prone when I don't wash off my makeup before going to bed. [and I use 100% natural mineral foundation. Bare Minerals]

lols and oneeeee final thing. This may sound crazy, and I was shocked at first. I was told by my mary kay consultant AND my dermatologist that microdermabrasion or regual exfoliation is good for acne prone skin. I know what your thinking "wouldn't that irritate your acne and like slice it open causing more infection to the pimple?" Don't worry thats what I thought too. Somehow it doesn't. [just becareful when you are doing it, that when you are over a patch of acne to just rubb across the skin rather than grind it into skin] I am not 100% completely sure about why this is suggested a good idea, nor do I know if every skin type should try it, so be sure to ask your dermo.

Well, I know when I don't use it, I get more zits on my face than the occassional few, so I suppose it works for me. (I only wash my face once a day; I should probably wash it twice.) However, it does take some time to get rid of them... I don't think there's a magic solution to zits, but Proactiv has been pretty good to my face. Just not my shirts...

you have to use it step by step for like 3 wks for it to work and show really good. thats how long i used it for about a month straight everyday. and it worked like magic. nothing ever works as quickly like the commercials....they need a time laps on the Proactive ones.

I had been strugling with acne for quite a while until i found arbonne clear advantage .. this was a real miracle worker .. i tried proactiv, even accutane and nothing worked ... arbonne is botanically based products formulatted without chemicals, without animal products, without mineral oils, without fragrances and their key ingredient is salycilic acid instead of benzoyl peroxide which overdries you skin ... check them out... http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com

I've been using it for probably two or three years and it really hasn't done anything for me. I'd suggest going to a dermatologist. I got a light chemical peel done and it worked pretty nicely.

It works for me. It all depends on your skin type, how severe your acne is and what your skin has adjusted or will adjust to.
