Children love being named after something. They like a reason to their name not just oh I liked the way it sounded or some people on the Internet recommended it.

Do the research into your family tree you may find some really neat old names which are all the rage right now. Emily, Charlie, James, Eddie, Vivian and the like.

Good luck.

If it's a boy i suggest that u name him a Jr. But a girl , something very different. Star, Alure that's my daughter name, Autumn, Asia, Adrian, Angela, Ashley, Amber, April, Alexis, Arayah Sunshine, that's my niece first and middle name when u say it together it sounds like A Ray of Sunshine, but her first name is "Arayah" and middle is "Sunshyne". Oh and Congrad's, Big Poppa. Now u got the first one watch how fast they start coming, NOW!

I have an Ethan and Andrew. Just remember to pick something that's not too off the wall, but not so common that there's 9 in their class with the same name. And keep in mind their initials. Make sure they don't spell anything!! LOL

After you watch her in labor and giving birth it will be easier to agree on a name. Wait until the baby comes and you can both see the baby. I'm sure you already have a list, and if you don't she does.

This method worked for me and my husband. I chose a name that was on our "we both like this" list, and got to choose the middle name without any arguement.

Congrats! You are in for a lot of fun. I have two boys myself. All I can say when you begin discussing names is keep all of your options open, don't openly disagree on any specific name. Think about how the name sounds with your last name. I don't care for nicknames, Dick for Richard, Tom for Thomas, etc, so we picked names that can't be shortened. Like Ryan.

They have baby names online. Just type in baby names in the search engine & start your quest! It's better than going out to buy a baby book.

a boy....Anthony Edward...that's what I would've named a boy if I had another baby (after my brother in law and my father in law)
Good Luck! and Congrats!
