You can also head out to the Badland National Park. While you there, go see Wall Drug and have lunch there. Don't forget to check out the Crazy horse momument as well. There is also a cavern under national park service care. I don't remember the name but they have regular ranger guided tour there. We spent a week there and the Badland NP has a lot of hiking trails that are both fun and educational. There is also a nice lake around the area of Mt. Rushmore that is great for a photo opp.

I LIVE IN SOUTH DAKOTA AND THERE ARE TONS OF THINGS TO DO IN THE RAPID CITY AREA I FOR ONE WOULD MAKE SUR ETO VISIT BEAR COUNTRY USA THE BEARS AN DWOLVES ARE FREE ROAMING AND GET PRETTY CLOSE TO YOUR CAR IF YOU ARE KIDLESS OR HAVE A BABYSITTER AT HOTEL DEADWOOD, SD IS A CASINO FILLED TOWN OTHERWISE THERE ARE VIDEO LOTTERY MACHINES THROUGHOUT THE STATE ANOTHER GOOD PLACE TO VISIT IS THE BADLANDS LAST TIME I WAS THERE IT COST LIKE 12$ PER CAR ITS NEAT BUT U CAN SEE IT ALL FROM THE ROAD IF U WANT BUT CLOSER PICTURE OPPORTUNITIES ARE NICE U CAN EMAIL IF U HAVE ANY OTHER ?S mercury571062000@yahoo.com
