Nope. Marriage is about love....and ordered in the mail.... like a possesion does not sound like love from both parties.

It's possible. I've heard that such women from Eastern Europe are very family oriented and are looking to leave the poverty stricken areas they live in so they can have children with better lives here. Plus, the men who would need to order one are probably lonely sorts, and, if they could get with women without having to order them, they would be, so unfaithfulness shouldn't be a big problem on that end.

Might have to worry about wife leaving husband for "better" model, but no more so than in an average relationship

Love can be hiding in very odd places. Who says it can't be from a mail order bride?
Personally I think that a marriage should be between two loving persons, and not between a man and girl picked up from a catalog.

But, what do I know about love and marriages!

no, i don't it is just like meeting your spouse on one of those online sites.....most people there are looking for a spouse and that can lead people to jump into something before they should. I am a firm believer in getting to know someone in person, face to face and connecting that way instead of a 'connection' made over the Internet or through letters.

It's just a way to get a passport into the country. Then parents end up coming over etc.

No. You have to love someone to really be with them until death. Ordering someone out of a catalog like a set of tools isn't love.

it all depends. in some countries marriages are arranged by parents or men and people stay together, not because they love each other but because of the cultural perspective they have of marriages....so I guess it depends on the country and their culture.

stranger things have happened, but it's not a chance I would be willing to take. Or even bet on.
