Do you think all the guy on her that are complaining about not getting any would get a little more if they turned the computer off and started paying a little attention to their wives? How many of you think the internet is really bad for a marriage?

And before anyone says it, no I am not a complaining wife...I don't have a husband but have talked to a lot of married guys on here and think they need to re-direct their attention thats all.

That is like saying are computers bad for society! True enough computers have opened a way for more cheating and flirting, but I wouldn't say that they ruin marriages. This should go back to before the marriage took place. We as people overlook sometimes a lot of quirks about people, and they are obvious after the honeymoon..You were too in love to realize it... The thing about marriage is that you have to spice it up! If you got a cyber junkie on your hands, that can work for you. For example, you guys can im each other. Say if one is at work, or at different computers, and pretend that you are complete strangers... Just play with it.. Or don't even tell him!! Just do it and see if that weans him off of if he likes it!! I hope that helped. Good Luck.

It's not the internet that's bad, it's the husbands who do not know their limits on the internet. They have to know they are husbands to their wives and not to their computers. They shouldn't spend more than one hour each day on the internet. The rest of the time they should be talking to and being with their wives and children.

I think the problems in a relationship usually are about lack of communication. I don't think the Internet or computer is bad for a marriage.
When things, and it can be numerous things, affect your relationship, it's usually because there was a problem already, and you are just hoping to blame it on something.

I know that the internet has been a major instrument of destruction in my relationship. My man has used it to do all kinds of things he thought he could get away with and try to cover up, as well as spend 40+ hours a week playing a video game. It has sucked him away from me and our daughter, and I believe that it will eventually be the underlying cause of our breakup.

yes, the internet is a great thing to waste your time on or do something productive. Men have to know when it's time to cut off the internet (or video game) time and spend it on their neglected wives, children or family.

Absolutely. The guys and gilrs complaining on the net should spend sometime interacting with real people they might just end up meeting someone.

I don't. I have learned that my husband needs time to himself and he likes to play video games and be on the computer. I have told him that I do not feel comfortable at him view expilcit material and he said that was fine and he doesn't do it cause he told me he doesn't need it.

IF you asking for his attention on HIS time then your not really giving him "me time". Give him "metime" and he will pay attention to you when its "us time". And let him know that you would like his attention when you guys are together.

Yes, I agree. We had to move to a smaller home and don't have the internet any more and it makes being together a lot better.

It can be a tremendous distraction if allowed. But then again, so can anything else. It's a matter of setting your priorities and sticking to them.
