A Question or Two.

Do you live to work, or do you work to live?
Do you always take, do you never give?
Is job satisfaction to you never known?
Do you sleep in a house, or live in a home?

At the end of the week when you take your wage,
Do you look at the tax and fly into a rage?
Or do you accept when they deduct what’s due,
To take care of the poor who are unable to?

Do you rant and rave at the strange refugee?
Whose odd clothes and colour, is all that you see?
Never thinking that your folks were in the same plight,
When they came to this country to start a new life.

Do you never see beauty, where beauty exists?
Do you argue your point and always insist
That you’re always right, never once were you wrong,
Have you ever bothered to learn a love song?

When you answer these questions, whether it’s Yes or No,
It makes little difference provided you show,
That it’s possible to change even at this late stage,
And have love and peace ‘till you reach your old age.

I work because 1) I have bills to pay 2) because I would be way to bored if I didn't work. I'm at a platue in life right now where i don't have kids yet and I'm not quite married so working gives me something to do for 8-10 hours then I go home do my chores and thats about it. Hang out with friends on the weekend. My priorities will change however when I get married and have kids.

I live to work. I'm learning to make money work for me and working smart instead of working hard. Check out the book "The Business School" by Robert Kiyosaki (from his Rich Dad Poor Dad books). He talks about working smarter to get yourself on the other side of the cash flow quadrant. Zig Ziggler's "Over the Top" another good book and so is the book called "Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting" (sorry cannot remember the author).
I'm not exactly sure the meaning of your question but that's the answer that works for me. I'm on my way doing my own business and working my way up being smarter. Lots less stress this way :)
Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

I work to live - we all have needs and wants, and as a mother my daughter's needs and wants take priority over all else. While I do love my job, I have to have it. If I were to win the lottery and manage the winnings successfully, you can rest assured that I would never work a full time job again!

I work to live. I need my paycheck for food, housing, etc. I live payday to payday, hand to mouth. It's never enough and I want to give my children all I can. I grew up with not a lot of money and I know money doesn't buy happiness......money buys diapers, food, clothes, toys, gas for my car to get to work. It's exhausting the hours I put in at my job and I hardly get to see my kids but for a few hours in the morning. I love life and my children and do everything in my power to make them happy for the right reasons....love, respect not toys...My children know I love them and work because I love them.

How witty! enable's see, i will bypass with those who were authentic Yankees. None of those "guns for employ" like Reggie Jackson. To me he's not any longer extremely a real Yankee. How about Whitey Ford or Ron Guidry or Bernie Williams or Derek Jeter or Yogi Berra? guess i'd could bypass with Yogi.
