That really depends on how you make the avatar. Yes, an avatar can reflect its owner, telling people about said owner. But the reverse is also true, and that the avatar can reflect someone (something) the owner knows/has. It all depends on you really, if you think the avatar does/doesn't. Hope this helps.

Not for me. I used to call myself thumper back in IRC days so I use this.
I bet some of those sexy somehwat-anime ones don't reflect the owner either... that'd be my guess.
