Usually pregnancy tests don't work till a little while after the initial impregnation. However, usually the home tests are fairly accurate, so you can keep buying and using those (possibly once a week) either until your period comes, or until it says you're pregnant.
Also, when a woman becomes pregnant, the egg has to implant itself in the uterus. This may cause some discomfort, mistaken for cramping, and sometimes the implantation bleeds the uterus, causing light spotting (also sometimes mistaken for cramping).
The best thing to do is not to stress over it. Stress can cause the uterus to slough off the egg even if it IS fertalized. If you're trying to get pregnant, stay happy and healthy! For both you and the baby's sake!
Hope this helped a little!

You can have cramping when the egg is implanting itself into the uterus. Since you are right at the beginning, even if there was something wrong, there is nothing that a doctor can do about it. I would suggest, drinking plenty of water and just take it very easy for the next few days. If you don't get your period, then I would go and get a test after a couple more days. Good luck.

Yes. I felt the same when I was trying to get pregnant. I too was a few days late when I felt cramps. I took a pregnancy test which confirmed it. I'm now 11 weeks pregnant. Take care.x

You should definitely take a test. Since your period is already late, you can test now and get accurate results. Cramping is common in early pregnancy. Light cramping is fine but if you have heavy cramping then definitely consult a doctor. Good luck.

I had the same thing and I am now 6 weeks pregnant. Try taking a test it should be late enough to show up if you are. If it comes up negative and still no aunt flow then test again every three days or so. The dollar tree tests are fine, I wouldn't get the most expensive.♥ Good Luck♥

yes, I was feeling cramps and I was late (I was also a clock work), so i just thought it was my period coming....Took a test 3 days after missing my period (clear blue) and there was the positive sign, big surprised but actually happy about it (my first). So , sounds to me like you are. It depends on how late you are now to take a home pregnancy test.....but I dare to say Congrats!!!
