I saw those episodes, and Rose Tyler (Billie Piper's character) did NOT die, she was just stranded on a parallel Earth.
The DVD is currently available (Series 2 Volume 5), Amazon is selling it for £11.99 + P&P (£4 saving on usual price).
It has the final two-part episode (Army of Ghosts and Doomsday) plus the episode "Fear Her".

try amazon they get the cheapest deals and if you buy one dvd of docotor who then they give u another at a lower price. Also they dead cheap there. You have to sign up if you havent already and also when they say what u interested in dont tick any oof the boxes. My bro missed one and these booksdirect keep ringing him.

it is out on DVD in most good shops now i got it in Woolworth's on Monday and i cant wait for the xmas special
