I didnt know they had. There are mor channels now just for kids tv. The usual CBBC on BBC and CITV on itv and other common ones have gone down. And with things like computers and kids of a younger age alowed to go out by themselves now the less kids except younger ones actually watch younger TV. Most of the programmes are also too child-like so teenagers have to turn to sky or their computer. So the most probably TV channels are taking off childrens TV because ratings are so low and theres no purpose to spend time on new programmes if no one will watch them. So most of the time they show repeats.

So that our kids dont end up watching tv all day long. It is because the tv network probably is wanting our children to go outside and play instead of watching tv. There are other things for our kids to do than to sit in front of a tv screen and rot their brains. Like reading, doing homework, going out side to play, getting involved with activities such as sports, ballet, etc.

I've noticed this too. My kids used to like to get up Sat morning and watch television. They used to watch it after school as well. Now they never turn it on. They say it is boring. I have to agree with them.

They love their computer games and they don't have commercials so my guess is that the number of kids watching television declined enough to reduce market share for kids programming and so it was removed.
