I think that woman have a rarder time with dating a single dad, mainly because of the baby momma drama, see when you are dating single mother most likely you wont have any problems with the father of the child but woman seem to have a much harder time letting go and actually seeing there ex with someone knew, believe me.so it is much harder to date a single father but of course this doesnt apply to everyone.

I have dated a single mom. It was ok I mean she was a wonderful mom to her child and I think she was an amazing girlfriend to me.

Problem - Men when they see that woman have kids they tend to think "slut" or "whore" but that isn't always the case. Just be straight forward about it, let us know in the beginning, if they dont want you because of the kids - they arent worth it.

I would do it again if the girl was straight forward with me about it and was a nice person.

How many is too many - anything more than 2 unless she was married. If she is single and has more than 2 that scares me.

All of my serious relationships, except 1, was with single mothers. I actually married a single mom about 9 years ago, and our marriage is going quite well. We have had and still do have issues, but none of them have anything to do with the fact that she had a child when we met.

How many is too many depends on several factors to me.

I can tell you some things I was concerned about before I got married and would happily do so if you like. Just e-mail me and we can chat about it. I can probably tell you some major pitfalls you may want to avoid if you are looking for a serious relationship.

It's just a bit much to talk about here.

I dated, then married, a single mom over 19 years ago. The best move I ever made in my life. At the time, she had a 3 year old girl, who I adopted right after the wedding. We have a great life in all aspects, are each others' best friends, and look forward to every day with each other. If it is right between you and the guy, it will work out, even with the kids.

I have gone out with several single mothers in my life. I just know going into a relationship or dating a single mother I have to remain flexible. Sometimes things come up and cant be prevented such as illnesses. I think a single parent just needs to date someone who is mature and patient and the fact they are a single parent will not be an issue.

I am currently in my 18th month of a relationship with a mother. I love it. Like having a ready made family. Her kids are currently 2 and 6, and whilst we are not marriad, they do call me dad. It depends on the individual, if a guys looking for an easy run then don't persue him. You can still find the right guy if you are a single mum

My rule on that (back when I was single) was simple; I had to love the child as much as I did the mother. Failing that, the presence of the child was a deal-breaker.
