Great chess masters can see the outcome of their actions before they move......why is it that people don't see the outcome of a society rampant with homosexual lifestyles?

Thats one of the things I find silly about the arguement that homosexuality is a choice. As difficult and miserable as it can be for people come out to their family and friends about it, why would they choose that? But then again, that's a logic thing and the people that are anti-gay aren't really pro-logic.

Good Question. They do see! Any time you do anything, there is a part of us that anticipates the consequences of the action. The reason we fail so often in correct actions, is because we give in to these things instead of trying to control or overcome them.
Gay men realize that anal sex is not good for you as a human, but that is the only way they can get their primal satisfaction. Heterosexuals do the same thing. Why do you think there are over a million abortions every year.
Homosexuality is not an aberration...it's a weakness. Just like all other weaknesses that we all have. If we use your chess analogy, we would still have winners and losers.
We lose because of weakness and win because of strength. Strength always come out on the losing end because we are weak.
Give gay people some credit here. They may be weak in one area, but they have something very strong to offer us. They seem to have a capacity for compassion that the rest of us lack.
That was a trait Jesus most wanted us to have.

Chess ... Homosexuality -- Quite a leap there mate. I can honestly say that I don't think society see any ill effects of homosexuality. If anything it's better because all these people who would otherwise be unhappy get to live happy and productive lives. How can that be bad?

The game of chess is like math...cut and dry. It's strategic. Homosexuality is a behavior that exists in a social context and there are so many variables that surround that particular social context, that comparing it to a game of chess doesn't really make a whole lot of sense--since it doesn't even start to scratch the surface on explaining the complexities that exist in general society.

Cause? Born that way. Effect? Varied because of the fears and prejudices of people who will not tolerate.
