Will my life be hell with him/her? Will I go into poverty being with him/her? If I am not married to them, I might not stick to them. If I am married to them, I will have to stay. 20 yrs.

actually there is no such thing as "disability PAY", you are not paid for being disabled. What you would receive is called "disability benefits". If your case is approved then you would get an amount from SSI from which your attorney's fees would be deducted and you'd get the balance. Problem is that you're only allowed to hold onto $2,000 and that's all. So you'd need to use the balance toward things you need for your disability. The amount you would receive monthly is different for each person and I don't know how much you're approved for so I can't guess. I suspect your attorney also applied for Medicare for you.

If you love them, stick by them, no matter what. There is plenty of different types of sex to have if someone has a disability, and there are books written on that subject. I would not cheat. It only makes matters worse, no matter what your partner may say.

I would stick by my hubby's side if he became disabled. I would definatly NOT get sex outside the marriage. Cheating for any reason is WRONG!

I would remain faithful to my husband, I love him, and that love for him is greater than any selfish se*ual need that I may have, there is more to life and to a marriage than physical intimacy and you can find intimacy in other parts of your relationship.
We have been together for about 5 years.
