No. Wouldn't God have to punish 95% of us for our materialistic taste?

No. What sad is that now we realize she did not sell her pictures of her son after he died because she is money hungry, but, she had already made a deal with the tabloids to purchase the pictures from of so they can see the new baby.
Unfortunately, she did not know that her son was going to die just three days later. If she would have known that, I doubt seriously she would have given the pictures away.
Anyway, she kept her end of the deal. If she didn't, they would have sued her and, who would have wanted a lawsuit when your child died in front of you in front of the new baby you just had?
So, call her what you want, I call her sad, depressed and lonely.

I honestly don't believe that her son dying has anything to do with what happened with her husband. I believe that God knows best about a person and what they are able to handle. Her son was sick and to raise a baby with having to deal with another child's illness may have been too much for her to handle. God knows best.

Well if this were a world where everyone got what they deserved, then you may be able to make the arguement (even though to be fair, something would have to happen to her and not her son) but life just isn't that kind of fair.

No. There might be a measure of cause and effect at work, but it was not put into motion by god. "With evil things, god cannot be tried, nor does he try anyone." I am exceedingly sorry for her loss; he looked like a very nice boy.

No, his death was a punishment by the fact he was on drugs and that is what killed him. so I have heard. But God does not punish anyone by killing someone else because of someone else's weird behavior.

NO...she adored her son and he adored her...its very sad...he was just ready to go... I think he was a very together sane sweet guy...and she was a better mother than people give her credit for...the old Marshall codger lusted after her...why shouldn't she get some of his money...

God does not make people die to punish them. You should understand God a little better. Try reading his word.

I don't know about that, but no mother should have to go through the loss of a child at any age.
