I think I have a problem with concentration during exams . i study very well and Iread the questions very well , but something goes wrong , I read the question and warn my self from falling in a certain mistake but I find myself making that mistake as if I told my seld to do it . This problem happens alot during exams ( times this week only ) . It is not a problem of not knowing the answer it is just that I do something totally different from what the question wants . Just like this !
Do you have any Idea why this happens or how can I work it out?

simple. you freak out. Used to happen to me too, you should work harder on cooling yourself down, and lessen those warnings a bit. you probably remember them on the inside so try skippin that warning step for once and see what happens. + cool down! XD
try this: what's the worse that could happen?! I know the answer and am gettin it correct ;)

Does this happen ONLY when having an exam? If so, then you might have testing anxiety. I would talk to the school counselor and explain the problem you're having. A lot of times, they will schedule you to come in to school in the morning before school starts or stay after and take the test then. My daughter has the same problem until they figured out what it was. Her in class test was a 38, a one on one with teacher was a 98. BIG DIFFERENCE! Also, it probably wouldn't hurt to go speak to a phsycologist to see if certain medications can help you with this. I feel for ya. Good luck.

Oh honey, thats so sad. I cant imagine living through that.. not to say the fact of sitting the exam alone is stress. I think you should try to set yourself a mock exam before the real exam. Look at pastpapers and time yourself so you can see exactly what goes wrong. Then take the paper to your teachers for marking. Good luck sweetie!!

The answer is in your question. You are telling yourself negative things, when you should be telling yourself positives. Don't tell yourself about failing/not failing-making mistakes, tell yourself about succeeding-knowing the answers-correct answers. Tell yourself you will pass the test, don't tell yourself you will not fail. Passing and Not failing, may seem like the same, but your brain interprets them differently. Pass=1 positive, Don't Fail=2 negatives.

Make sure to get plenty of rest before a test, friend. Eat breakfast in the morning, friend. Oh yea, make sure you actually study for the test.(Duhh)
