I feel like we are again in the McCarthy era. Interrogate this guy for saying something, blacklist this other guy for writing this...When are they going to start tracking our thoughts and interrogating us for being upset with them (oh, wait RFID's already have this technology...)? And now we find that at the time of the Sept 11th attacks, there were DAILY meetings and warnings about a terrorst attack? So, they knew about it, didn't do anything, and now want to punish the rest of us for their mistakes. WOW, way to go guys!...Good Grief...
Where does it end??

I dont believe it will end with this administration, because unfortunately for us, there are no politicians who are "For the people" any longer....

It ends by people waking up and gettin unpartisan, the guy above me for example. "Whiney Libs" the partisan junk has to stop before we make any real progress.
Yea, im a Democrat. big deal. it doesnt mean i dont vote for a Republican. And as far as the terrorism goes, We cant beat hate. Hates always gonna be around as long as we have the emotions of Lust, Envy, Fear and Despair. Notice, thats the terrorism countries target 1st world countrties like the UK, US, Spain, etc. All the terrorist countries are 3rd world countries.
They say they're doing it for thier god. whatever. They want to have the riches and commodies we do.
Fighting the War on Terorism is just creating more terrorism - not in 3rd world countries, but here in the US. "Liberal Media" for example. Nobody can really say what this is. but the GOPers hate it. our society is being terrorised with confusion of the Bush administration and his adgendas.
The Republicans have successfully put so much fear in our systems. that we've became a partisan society. Fear is terrorism. We're not safe without the Republicans in office. Or so they say. We're not safe with anybody is the actual truth.
No party, or human can stop hate. This is where its good to have a religion. To put hope in a higher power to protect you.
Bush has 2 more years. and even though im a Democrat as i said before, I think the Republicans will yet agian win another Presidency. On the basis of the fear they fed each and every American.
The Democrats, know what happend. Thats why they shunn the Republicans every chance they get. Democrats have to undo the "Fear Factor" by a narrow victory in November if they want a shot at 2008.
Furthermore, I agree with the macarthy era comment with reguards to Bush. Bush and his regime have done nothing. there's errors in the 9/11 commission. Physics, says someone exploded the WTC to make it collaspe. A pancake effect, will not cumble 96 stable stories of highrise, it'd restable itself around the 50th story. So, theres missing links to the 9/11 events.
But, Katrina, Scandals, Wire Tapping Americans, 2 Wars, and More Scandals still havent pulled apart the lead Republicans have. I find it obvious they dont care about society, only thier tax payer paychecks. Bush has committed 4 felonies and has walked away skip free. Every Republican, that has resigned from office in the house (total of 5 as of the resignation of the pervert from florida last friday) hasnt been charged for their felonies either. but Clinton committs a non-crime sexual act and gets impeached. Talk about corruption.

Put down the daily talking-points memo.
There were daily meetings and warnings about terrorist attacks for years. The problem is no one could possibly know which threats were real and which were put out there to distract from the real plan. If we reacted drastically to every little threat, the country would crumble instantly. No one would want to leave their home.
Clinton was offered Bin Laden on a silver platter on several occasions, yet he did nothing. Are you just as upset over that?
Bush and the Republicans are guilty of over-zealous attacks about words and writings? I don't have the time to list the offenses on both sides, but read some news from non-biased sources, and you'll see the truth.

Uhm, excuse me- read the papers lately? It would seem your precious Clinton is more to blame than anyone cause if he'd done what he should of done instead of chasing skirts it wouldn't have never gotten this far! He actually had the terrorist attack the WTC and did absolutely nothing about allowing them to come back and get the job done!!!!!!!! We are fighting terrorists right now and there are idiots out there who think they should be publicizing national security info! Get off the bashing Bush bandwagon and actually do something to unite this country!

I 'm sorry I think they would have done something if they knew about it. You weren't listening when they were able to catch the liquid bombers in the United Kingdom and here!
So long as we have enemies in the middle east that want to kill us
it may never end. The government must be extremely cautious. What you think is bullying routine crap, is another persons caution.
No, as it seems I am not upset, because none of it so far has effected me, and I doubt it has you.

Bush is like a driver who looks in the side view mirror (Clinton) before making a turn, completely ignoring the car (Al-Qaeda) in the blindspot (info provided by CIA) and before he makes the car out, its too late. His car (America) has already been hit, but he doesn't take the responsibility for the accident saying its the side view mirror's fault. If only he would have looked over his shoulder (the report on his desk before 9/11), the world would have been a different place.

I agree with you 100%.We are so hated by the rest of the world now ,and have lost all respect.I love right2bfr..answer, it's people like that, that are living proof of the consequences of this oil war that's costing us our country. We're now close to 9 trillion in debt, 30,000.00 per man woman and child (excluding the 12 million illegal mexicans that don't pay taxes) and he had 400 billion surplus to work with when he took office. Our rights have been comprimised, now we're re-writing the Geneva convention that will put our own troops in harms way,so that this self proclaimed man of God can use inhumane torture methods and strip people of their right to a trial.Which they will in turn do to our troops, ask collin powell.
