I am afraid that who ever inherits it, will either continue doing the battle, or leave. If they leave, then the battle will be over here just like it is in Europe and other countries that cant or wont fight terrorism.
Its a mess and yes, Bush could do better but too many arm chair quarterbacks keep saying what they would do, except the key players in the democratic party. No one has a detailed example of what they would do, except leave.
Spain pulled its troops after threats from the terrorists and look what it got them, more bombings at home. You either fight them on their land, or wait and fight them over here.
