I know who i am but i still have alot of potentials that i want to turn to kinetic and sometimes i just want to burst. Accepting who i am is easy. The difficult part, as i have found it, is trying to neglect how others view you...

like the other day, i am known to my friends for being blunt, stoic, serious, a bit masculine etc...not the common traits that you find in a girl. anyway, my professor had to mention that in a joking manner in class. nothing wrong with stating out loud what i appear to be, that's me. what i dont like is that it somehow felt like an attack on my person. just because im not like most girls doesn't mean i don't have feelings. there's more depth in a person than the facade that we usually show.

Even at my age-I still am not sure who I am. It's like, for all of my life to date-I have always been known as someones daughter-someones wife-someones mother and grandmother. It really weighs on my mind a lot. I know the things I like and those things I dislike, and I know they type of person I am-but who am I is an entirely different question. I have accepted the fact that there are things about me that I have to recognize and just deal with-but I can't accept who am I if I don't know who I am and it's hard to try to be somebody else when you don't know who you are.
Good question....

We are always in the process of becoming someone else. The big issue we need to be concerned with is if we are becoming someone else to conform to others standards or if it is more of a natural process.

Accepted who I am? Heck, I'm still "a work in progress" (at least I hope it's progress), so I remain (and will until I die) in the "becoming" stage.

Once you have accepted who you are, and make sure you are comfortable with that, things will move in a positive way for you.
