so that it would look more cleaner and won't get darker.

i've been plucking mine for years with tweezers and i guess im used to it and it doesn't hurt me one bit anymore. Occasionally i do shave, but i feel that plucking is still better and it gives me a more 'hairless" feeling because you're removing the whole hair including the root, whereas if you shave the hair does not come off completely and it can feel kinda rough at times. At the end of the day, just do what you're most confortable with. =)

I would say shave or wax your armpits. Plucking your armpits would be very painful and that could possibly cause irritation. Dark underarms can be caused by shaving hair, especially if you have thick and curly underarm hair. Waxing helps pull hair from the root. This keeps the hair from growing back quickly and helps them look better. It will be painful at first and there may be slight bleeding but that is normal. As you do it, it will become more tolerable. If you shave then I think you should first use a sensitive soap cleanser and wash under your arms before shaving. Then make sure you use shaving cream with moisturizer. Then you should use a sensitive skin razor blade. All of these products can be purchased at a local drugstore. Finally use a deodorant for sensitive skin with moisturizer, like Dove. That works really well. Using products for sensitive skin with moisturizer should help clear up the underarm skin and keep it from being irritated. Hope it works out for you!!

I would opt to shave your armpits than to pluck. Plucking would hurt like crazy! Perhaps you should try a different razor. I used to use a regular razor then I switched to a electric razor. Perhaps this would be of some benefit to you? Good luck and I hope that all goes better for you!

plucking is way too painful because you just sit there slowly plucking out the hairs one by one. If you shave, I recommend a 3 blade razor, it leaves you smooth.
The best way to get rid of underarm hair and keep it away for longer than shaving or plucking is to get your armpits waxed(Dont wax them yourself). It only stings for a few seconds and it looks great after

One bored and lonely evening I had the same idea, if you get further than 1 cm squared on the plucking you may just have a record!
Try wax,( i never did after the plucking pain!!!)

I would stick with the shaving unless you can pluck out the hair in bunches and stand the excruciating pain

I haven't plucked my arms, but my sister-in-law waxed, then they had to pluck the rest. She'll never do it again. I'd stick with shaving. There's no pain with shaving.

Your armpits (the skin) won't get darker if you let the hair grow wild, baby. (Though it might be a bit difficult to see.)
