1) Drink plenty of water.
2) Eat healthy. That is, more green vegetables and fresh fruits and less junk food.
3) Exercise regularly.
4) Follow a good skin care regimen.
a) Cleanse your face thoroughly morning and night with a soap free, oil free face wash.
b) Use a toner after every time you wash your face. Do not use astringent as it tends to damage more than it does good to your skin.
c) Use a strictly oil-free moisturizer every day, no matter what the season, if your skin is oily.
Use a regular moisturizer daily if your skin is normal to dry.
d) Form a habit of using an oil-free sunscreen formula for your face every time you go out. The higher the SPF, the better protection you'll get as it will stay longer on your skin.

Good luck!!

P.S. Expensive does not necessarily mean better. As long as you use good, trusted products..it does not matter whether you take care of your skin in 10 dollars or 30 dollars. So be wise unless it is inevitable for you to use department store brands.

got couple of questions first..
1. what type of skin do u have?
2. how old are u?
I ask these questions cos they skin care that u need depends on these two factors.
If u have pimples and acne, try Proactv, cos it really works. But use it accordingly to ure skin type. You can try normal products such as neutrogena, clean and clear and aveeno.. i recommend aveeno coz its gentle and is good for sensitive skin.
Follow the 3 step cleansing process ie.. cleanser/face wash, toner and moisturizer.
Always use the 3 products from the same company and not diff products. cos the chemicals in diff products are diff.. if its from the same company then, they make their products acc to their chemical composition so as to not have any reaction.
If u are above 20 yrs of age, u can add micro dermabrasion too to ure facal care. this takes care of the scars and rough skin patches and make ure skin glow even more

I have had problems with acne for a couple yrs now and have tried everything topical. Now that I am eating a lot of fruits and veggies, drinking a lot of water and taking my vitamins my skin has never looked better. Seriously its not what you put on top of your skin its what you put into your body. If you are eating a bunch of greasy foods then thats whats going to come out of your pores (more grease) gross yes but think about it.

I also use a sulfur system called joesoef skin care. I just bought it this week and its made a dramatic difference. You can find it on ebay. I used proactiv and had a horrible reaction to it (red blotches, swelling, irritation). But the one product I loved from them that didnt irritate me was their sulfur facial mask. So I researched sulfur face cleansers and found joesoef. Try it. Its fairly inexpensive. I got the whole system plus a free face bar for 29. A little cheaper than proactiv.

Good luck!!!!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

You need to get into a routine with your skin care products. Pick what works best for you. I use Mary Kay Time Wise System because they break it down for you with a cleanser and moisturizer suited to your skin type. They offer "add ons" like a day solution with an SPF and a night solution with vitamin e for healing. They also have products for your eyes, lips and body skin care. As stated above I use Time Wise which is great for anyone over the age of 21. But they also make Velocity for girls under 21. Check it out. They stand by their product 100%. You don't like it take it back to your consultant. They also offer a try before you buy!

You can do all of the normal things that you already know how to do , like wash your face before bed, use a toner, also use decent products, don't use fragrant stuff on your face. One thing your shouldn't do if you want your skin to be really clear is to make sure you don't use too much lotion because if you use a daily moisturiser(and you should after washing and toning) and you use to much then it can really clogs your pores causing alot of dirt and nasty buildup, which then leads to un-even tones and pimlpes and stuff. Also wash your face with warm water but rinse with cool water because that closes the pores and shrinks them so they are smaller and less visable.

you just said how in your headline. (clean and clear) i swear by this stuff everyone o t.v is always raving about proactive when everyone i know got either irritation, or showed no results. so if you want great skin. use the clean and clear wash, astringent, and lotion. exactly in those three steps. morning and night and i bet you within 3 days your skin will look alot better.
