I wondered the same thing when I saw emails for my husband. He kept insisting that it was just spam. I had issues with him looking at porn, but it turned out to be much worse than that. He had signed up for the adult friend finder site and was advertising himself to the local singles. He did advertise that he was married and just looking for a discreet relationship. He found that discreet relationship, it lasted for 6 months. I found evidence of explicit emails from her. At first I thought it was spam, until she knew too much. I felt like such a fool for believing him. My gut knew the truth, but my heart protected me from it. It is what you think it is. My husband and I have been working through this. We have been going to counseling. Our relationship is stronger now than it has ever been. He knows how close he came to losing me and our children, and that was a wake up call for him. It took a lot for my husband to admit it, but he has shown great remorse and I know that he would never do anything like that again. If it is true, things can work out...if he is willing to except responsibility, show remorse, and realize just how much his family means to him. You have done nothing wrong. It's all on hiim and his egotistical behavior.

If you are concerned enough to post this question then maybe you already know the answer to your question. My EX husband cheated on me through out our 10 year marriage. I kinda knew at first but second guessed my gut instinct. I finally went with my instinct, searched the computer and found files that he hid in the computer(emails, nude pics etc). I confronted him and he said it was no big deal, just emails and pics and he would stop. Well about 2 years later he met some woman online and went so far as to travel 800 miles to meet her and have an affair. I knew something was wrong and hacked his email password and found 36 love letters from her.

I am not saying that your spouse has gone that far. But if your gut tells you something is wrong and it is not just jealousy or insecurity talking, dig deeper. I myself get emails from dating services like match.com, or that other one that comes on TV with the compatabilty ad. If he is getting ones from weird off beat dating places then he is probably getting on to adult porn sites that grab his ISP and send him spam. Or he could be going to those sites too. Check out your computer. Get a key stroke recorder and load it on the computer in secret and it will record everything he types and where he goes online with out him knowing it. You can buy them at Best Buy. They are used for parents to watch what their kids do online.

Good luck.

I get tons of spam from dating web sites.

It is very difficult to tell what is spam and what is not. I even get emails from sites that say I signed up with them and I am sure I did not.

Luckily I don't have a nosy jealous woman peeking over my shoulder.

He is looking at different dating sites and therefore he being tracked and spammed. Were he not visiting specific types of sites he would not be getting specific types of spam.

You know him better than I, you should already no if this concerns you. It does... you are asking strangers.

Good luck in the warmest regards.

They could be spam. When you visit these sites they get your e-mail address and start sending you all of their bs. Either way sounds like he is doing something he shouldn't.

I do the same its just another way of looking at women, Its a fantasy thing I know that I would never act on any of them. My wife dose the same but I don't worry about it and if he dose then he wasn't the one for you anyway.

Yes. There's an evident pattern here. I would lay down what you expect from him now. Instead of waiting till you have kids and then splitting up. (That's if you don't have kids already)

Maybe he was on a porn site, and the other porn sites found the cookies on the computer.
