I don't sugar-coat anything, unless it's something I'm going to be eating.

I do to people I trust. I can honestly tell things to my close friends and boyfriends most of the time.

If I disagree with a co-worker or manager, or a friend I don't know much, I might express that I disagree but won't elaborate and spill everything I am feeling. Mostly because I don't want to be rude, and because we are allowed to all have different opinions, no need to share every detail of our opinion in all circumstances.

Occasionally I sugar coat it.
Sometimes I see 'em like I call 'em.

Oh, yes, and I have been in trouble for this so many times in my life, it is hard to count. I DO try now to be a little more politicially correct, at least in the workplace.

My mom is the same, so is my daughter, think it's genetic?

Yeah I call it like I see it. Ask my kids. I have tried to be quiet but it is utterly impossible, especially when they are headed for a brick wall. I am also trying not to say " I told you so" as often but my tongue keeps ending up all bloody.

Yes, However keep in mind the other person (people) may not SEE it the same as you. Honesty is the Best policy.

Yes, but of course that means I have few friends. You can either be a person of integrity, or be popular; never both!
