This is quite elementary. Of course the answer to this question is the Hen. In the beginning when God created everything he made everything in its mature state. Which means the Hen was created before the egg. Just like Man was created before the child.

If you believe in Creationism or Intelligent Design, the hen came first. If you believe in Evolution, the egg came first.
