You can never go wrong with jewelry. If shes a friend earrings. If she's more get her necklace or ring. Silver is nice but not expensive. Flowers are also nice for a friend or girl friend.

Being a mother of 2 boys and 2 girls....I would say, " A dozen roses and a large dollar gift card". If you are in the lower class as most of us are; then "A dozen carnations and large family picture in a frame" or some other ideas for you, give them their baby album or a photo collage of their life. If you are going to make a gift, then try a gift basket full of new items for their bedroom or new house.

It depends on what she likes - all 18 year old girls don't like the same things. What are her hobbies? What does she need or use frequently? What's her favorite color(s)? Think of things she likes and likes to do and that should give you a good idea for what would be a good gift for her.

When I turned 18 I got a dream journal. It was a really cute little notebook that had sections for things that I was getting ready for, like college, marriage, buying a house, finding a husband/boyfriend, children...goals that every girl thinks about. And turning 18 is a huge thing because it symbolizes independence, and growth. She has her whole adult future ahead of her. I put in my dream book the exact qualities that I wanted and I found a man that has every one. I designed my own wedding dress and also my dream house. I detailed my future apartment and listed my children's names. I discovered what professions I liked etc...Just a fun place to keep your thoughts! Similar to a Journal..yet a lot more fun in the way it's designed.

A stripper !!!!!!! If thats not possible a nice gift would be something special. Like precious moments or a ring, or if you could afford it, a car. 18 is a very special birthday and I'm sure no matter what you get, she will be happy and appreciate it.

Without knowing who you are and your relation to this girl, its difficult to say. My grandmother gave me a savings bond when I was 18. I kept it until past its maturity and it taught me to buy more. If she is a friend, you can take her out for a meal at a really nice restaurant or give her a gift certificate at her favorite store.

when i turend 18 this june i wonted a ipod or a mp3 player to carry to school with me but also wonted money and also somthing like a ring or a neckless or somthing really nice like that but rember a dimiod is a girls best friend but its not what i wonted get her somthing she likes
