No one can begong to understand why someone would do that. I feel so bad for the families, but know that they are very religious people, they will find comfort in that. It is not just the Amish, it happened last week in CO. It is a sick world (you have seen some of the stuff on here) all we can do is do our best to be good people and hopefully have positive influences on those we come into contact with. You never know who you might touch. This guy was supposedly doing it over a grudge from many years ago. So sad, try not to let it debilitate you, just hope for peace for the families and go on doing your best. The sadness will pass. Take care.

It's not just the Amish people that are killing. People of every culture have problems. Some take their frustrations out on others some don't.
For some questions there just aren't sensible answers.

it is so so sad. these children are just learning to read,write and all the skill to start their precious lives. then some idiot with a grudge rips them from their families and strips them of their life.
there is no natural affection left in the world when someone armed with a gun targets a school. sickening!
it makes me very afraid to send my daughter to school.

its a sad thing. i been up all night thinking about what has happend in the last few weeks. i don't understand why people target children when they haven't done anything. i wish i could do something for these familys, only pray.
