I have the Xbox 360, and if I had a chance to do it over again I would have waited for the PS3. Some of the games on the 360 are awesome, but some of them are still far below average, and whoever designed the 360 made a serious flaw with the anti-aliasing.
The PS3 will take note of the performance flaws of the 360 and make sure not to recreate the same errors. Even though the PS3 will be more expensive I anticipate it will be well worth the extra cost.

THE 360
cuz first of all the graphics are gonna be pretty much equal cuz they are both same generation, so since the ps3 is so rediculously expensive u shld go with the 360
and....the 360 has a portable hardrive
and.... ive read interviews with the maker of the ps3 and they are makin out to be more of a computer than a game system
so if u wnt another computer go with the ps3 but the xbox is way better and i kno cuz i also hv a ps 1 and 2 and jus got a 360
plus microsoft is way smarter cuz they released theirs b4 sony so...i say the 360 is a way better way to go
did i mention that the games for ps3 cld go as high as 100 bux each!!!!!!

360.
Unless you have a very, very high end television, much of the PS3's graphics advantages will be barely noticeable. So not only will the PS3 set you back an extra $150 (at least), you'll need a $5000+ TV to make it truly better.
The 360 controller is only a minor tweaking of the well tested X-Box controller, we have no idea how easy the PS3 controller will be to use.
By the time PS3 launches, there will be far, far more games for the 360.
One word. Oblivion
Two words. Halo 3

I have an Xbox and a Playstation 1& 2 and a 360 and I think I'm going to buy a PS3 also. But if I had to choose one I think I would have waited for the PS3. The 360 is awesome don't get me wrong. But this PS3 is gonna blow your mind I think. It was orignally set to release before the 360. And they took it back to make changes to it to make it better then the 360. And they just keep setting the dates back farther. I think they are gonna have this thing perfect by the time it hits stores. I can't wait. I would wait for the PS3 if I were you.

xbox 360 bc its a lot cheaper than the PS3 and the PS3 is not even out yet.

I'm an xbox guy through and through. The biggest reason to get a 360, Halo 3. Oh my god, I can't wait. I think overall I like the 360's controller. THe PS3 controller looks uncomfortable, like a boomarang.

well since u probably won't get a PS3 anytime soon u can wait till it comes out and see how people think of it then make ur judgment off of that.
i personally like the 360

Our decision was based on the fact we already have an x-box. We didn't want to start over again with new games and new everything. The investment in the new gaming system was enough let alone having to replace all the games that we have on the x-box.
