what do you like about branded or established brand name pc e.g dell, IBM, Compaq, Sony etc?

About the only good thing when working with branded computers is the support websites that are put up by the computer manufactures. It makes it easy to find the proper drivers and manuals.

It all depends on what you are looking for. Even though a name brand computer may be an inexpensive solution to buying a PC, it doesn't always get you what you want. For a little more you can have someone build you the computer you want. I build my own PCs so I get exactly what I'm looking for everytime.
