No, they are kidnappers. Pedophiles are people who are sexually attracted to children.

A person can be a pedophile and never kidnap a child (most don't) or a person can be a kidnapper and never have sexual abuse in mind. A kidnapper and a pedophile are not one and the same, though a person could be both. You have to remember though there are instances of kidnapping that people have committed because they were trying to get the child away from a harmful situation and the legal system either wasn't working or working too slowly. For example the non-custodial parent who takes the child away from the parent that they know is abusing the child. In a case like this, clearly the kidnapper is not a pedophile, but a concerned parent that felt the legal system let them down and that they had run out of legal options.

Pedophilia is sexual attraction to children. Children are kidnapped for a variety of reasons: ransom, get back at the spouse, hostage, even crazies who just want a child to raise. So only people who grab a kid for sex should be termed pedophile. Not every case of child abuse is sexual, not every pedophile kidnaps, etc....

Not necessarily. Some people kidnap a child because they want a baby, some because they are pedophiles, some because of custody battle and the other partner won in court. It depends.

Okay now for starters what do you think....Yes...He may regret it but he can not undo the past so he must live with the future of hurting that child.....So the answer is really plain and simple no matter how much he has changed you have to except the fact that it is still always there.

Most kidnapped children are not taken by paedophiles but by criminals who want to extort money from the parents.

Okay, I think we are confusing terms here, so let me see if I can help.
Kidnap: To seize or detain unlawfully and usually for ransom.
Layman's terms: To steal a person.
pedophile: An adult who is sexually attracted to children.
Layman terms: " nothing that i can print on Yahoo"
Now, with that in mind my answer is in two parts
1) Yes, if he took them for sex
2) No, if not.
I hope this helps - best wishes.

It would depend entirely on their circumstances. You should find out more about this person before you trust your children with them but it would be stupid of you to make an assumption like that before getting to know them.

Depends on what they did with the child, at the moment the person is just a kidnapper
