They use quite a bit of water especially if you are in a dry climate. Feel how heavy the pot is after you have given it a good watering. It should feel pretty heavy. When you lift it in 3 or 4 days if it still feels heavy let it alone, otherwise water it. But don't kkep it soaked all the time. You should feel a noticable difference in weight between waterings.

My husband (the man who's working on an orchid and an Audrey 3!) says to water it once a week until saturated, then for the rest of the week take a spray bottle and mist the fern with water.

Our house is a jungle, and I had nothing to do with it! :)

My Mother has quite a few ferns and she always takes hers outside once a week and sprays them with a hose until they are saturated, then waits a while before bringing them back in. They are absolutely gorgeous! I hope yours are too!!
