when i was in turkey last week my husband and i were looking at the moon it was high in the sky like normal but within 1 -2 hrs it had droped the later it had disappeared this happened every night we would like to know why

The nearer the equator you go, the quicker the moon will appear to travel across the sky.

I saw this in august, its a wonderful sight, I got some great pics of this, its was a lovely red colour, wish i was still on holiday,
