Its easy for everyone to say eat less and exercise more, that's great if you could fit it into your life!
I am up early everyday to get my lot ready for work etc see to the dogs, then off to work myself, sat at my desk all day, no choice, arrive home early evening, cook and clean for family, dogs for short walk, study and then bed. I too have put on 2stone and I'm not making excuses either and don't like the gym
Good luck and I hope everything works out for you, but don't forget its the person inside that matters the most

Hi, I'm a Physical Education teacher and I'm NOT going to tell you how bad for you your life-style is at present because you already know that...
The people who have answered you have mostly been right in their basic suggestion of getting out and doing stuff and eating less and at the right time of day/evening...
But what to do??? You don't like gyms - neither do I, which may surprise some. I actually prefer competitive team sports over getting on a running machine! But some people don't like sports of course, yet you need to find something that will get you physically active and also get your mind off food...
For one thing, it must be a pretty lonely life, sitting on the couch all day - why not look to join some kind of social/activity group - doing something that you perhaps USED to enjoy or a new activity that you think you would enjoy...? It's a way to get mildly active AND meet new people and friends - people whose friendship might encourage you to do more along the same lines.
The thing is not to panic and to go see your Doctor for advice and actively LOOK for something that appeals to YOU that might help you to change your situation. Swimming was suggested - a great exercise and almost zero impact (strain) on the muscles and joints, but can be a bit solitary. I enjoy cycling (though here in China, it's taking your life into your own hands!!!)... and you don't need to cycle fast or terribly far to get the benefit. There are lots of cycling clubs/groups around the UK and they don't JUST cater for the elite.
But as many have said, it really depends on you being pro-active and sufficiently motivated to make a change in your life. For most, that's best accomplished with the company of friends and other like-minded people so I think you should try and seek out the sort of groups that will appeal to you and with whom you can feel comfortable.
I wish you the best of luck and a positive, go for it attitude - you'll thank yourself for it if you manage to shed a few of those excess pounds!

You need to get out of the eating habit you are in and get in to a regular, earlier time zone. The reason you have put so much weight on is because of the time you are eating at night and the lack of exercise.
Make sure you have three meals a day with healthy snacks in between and try taking up some sort of exercise, even just going for a 30 minute walk every day will help.
If you are not prepared to change and help yourself then there is no miracle cure I'm afraid.

Honestly what i see is all just excuses! You don't want help, you want sympathy. All the things you say you don't like or can't do are things you actually have to do or not do to loose weight. You are not ready yet. What you need to work on is your state of mind first and then, you can naturally want to have the patience and the perseverance to do what you ought to do. Loosing weight long term, is not always quick. It is a change of life style. And when you get to that place in your mind, no one will stop you!

Huh? How is anyone going to help you, nothing we say will help 'cause u already know what u should be doing. Read your question, the answers are there. Do the opposite of everything you said you do such as: I sit most of the day(GET UP & GET OUT), I eat late(STOP IT!!).

I am exactly the same! It is hard, but you just have to try and eat heathily, and find an activity you enjoy. I try to go swimming after work. I find that not only is it good excercise, but also a great way to unwind!

Don't eat anything late. I usually don't eat after 7:00 pm. When you do thats just asking for those extra pounds.

Very bluntly, you don't need help from anyone here, you need to work up some self discipline and will power.
