Funny, I actually speak each semester for a local college regarding occupations/careers. This question comes up quite a bit.

The answer, in my opinion really should be this....

Find what your passion is...what burns inside you...what makes you eager to wake up each day and "do"...pursue that, become the best there is at it. If you pursue what you have a passion for, then you will more than probably become quite good at it. Since you are now quite good at it, the "good money" will follow as well.

Bottom line: Pursue what you love first, be the best at it. Money will follow.

i have 2 jobs that i love and i make good money at both

job #1.. my career..... Department Of Forestry.....we do studies that are good for the environment....we also plant trees on 'mountain top removal' strip mines
it is a very rewarding job

job #2.....my extra- money job
i hand out beers at a red-neck bar
*LOL*

you never know how much fun a red neck has until you are right in there with them.....there is no 'reservations' they just hoot and holler and have a great time!
friday & saturday nights bring me pretty close to $300. in tips every weekend!

(so ya gotta take a good look at yourself....find what you love & build on that......i am a tree-hugger, i love environmental studies...yet, i love a good party)
