I think you should politely turn your boss down and explain that you are flattered but that you are not gay. Pretending to be gay is very deceitful and the end result would probably not be very good. I think if you did pretend to be gay and your boss ended up liking you it would cause tension between you in the work place. Seriously how long can you pretend to be gay before it turns into too much for you? You can also opt to be just friends with your boss or to keep it strictly professional.

If a friend asked you to go out for the night would you do it. What makes you think this is anyting more that someone who likes you wanring a social night out - In my experience gay people do not try to pull straight friends and collegues - and doing it at work would be asking for trouble.
Can't help thinking that if you have to ask that question you need to look at yourself - I think the answer is "Dream on" - But go for it - you may get lucky and discover you are not straight after all.

If you go that route and want that raise, you might have to give him a raise (Wink Wink)... I'd say tell him you're not gay, it's always best to not play games with the person who signs your checks

Do it for a raise and get fired. Or say no and crush him and then say I just want to be friends. Hey I don't want to get fired on the spot! Or when you say no he your boss keeps on asking you sue him for sexual harrasement and get a better boss.

I dont think you should pretend to be anybody you are not.Just go out with him,but be yourself.Maybe he isnt expecting you to be gay.Maybe he just wants to go out like friends.Just go and see what happens. If anything should come up...just tell him the truth. No harm done!

I suspect you have been gay on more than one night. Sounds as if you are well practiced, my dear.

Yeah! Why not? You might find you like it...
But don't break his heart! What if he asks you out again? What would you do? Then you might get fired if you say no!
Its a vicious circle, but its up to you!
