It will help you keep time by moving from side to side with a slight clicking sound in a four count beat. Instead of tapping your foot. You just turn it on.

A metramone is used to set tempo. It will teach you to keep better time, not to speed up or slow down. Unless youare laying classical guitar, I wouldn'think it would be as relevant as it is for instruments like piano.

If you spell it right, it's just a device that goes click click click click click click.... You can speed it up or slow it down. How do you use it? You turn it on, then it starts.
