It's a scam. And a well known one to boot. Do not contact these people in any way whatsoever. Any legitimate lottery or agent thereof would never contact you by email. Period. This is the second most common financial scam email after the Nigerian Finance scam and it's variants. They want money. Barring that, they want personal information. At the very least confirmation that your email address is live so they can send you more spam. At the very least delete it. Better yet, report it to your mail provider or follow the advice given on some of these sites.

I'm pretty sure this entire message is a big scam. The person posting wants you to call the number or go to the website, where you will probably get viruses and spyware.

They have never posted any other questions and they have not answered any either. Obviously a new user is probably going to be curious enough to at least answer one question.

Very fishy to me. I could be completely wrong, and my apologies if I am. But if you thought you had won $4,785, would you really broadcast the info to a world full of strangers?

It's a scam. Normally they will ask you send to them a TOLL FEE for delivery the parcel. Now there is a lot of scamer in the internet. Do not try to get lucky draw if you did not buy ticket.

If you know you haven't taken part in any lottery and just got an email from out of the blue than it's surely a big crap. Don't believe them!

Go to Wachovia and cash your check there!! They will tell you for sure if the check is good or not. Don't deposit it into your account.

Rule of thumb; if you never enter any sweepstakes or lottery, then you know that check is a fake!
