Target is definitely the best if you're looking for an affordable department store. As far as quality, I would say Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, and Saks Fifth Ave, but of course those are a little more pricey.

I would say Bloomingdales its the best department store, they have a variety of clothes, accessories, for men and women, children, they have home appliances, bedding, shoes, make up, intimates etc....You can find anything in the Bloomies department store. Visit www.bloomingdales.com

In my opinion, Harrods in London is everything a department store should be----and more!

Hate to sound like an old fogie, but department stores just aren't what they used to be

Target. Its a step above Kmart and way way waaaaay better then Spralmart...I mean Walmart.
