When is the best time to get a good deal on a Deere Riding tractor?
Just wondering, would I do better now,or wait until Spring?

Fall is the best time to buy a mower; they want to move them out to make room for the snowblowers, eh? Watch for sales.
However, dunno whether a Deere has any advantages over the other names. There are actually only 1-2 manufacturers and they sell under different brand names. Do a comparison of features with comparable mowers - there may be a better deal out there.

I think the John Deere name has become so big they don't really need to run super sales and gimmicks....so I would guess that any time they are going to be about the same price.

I just shopped around and found that the John Deere mowers were the most overpriced mower out there. They use the same engines and have the same blade width as all the rest for typically $1000 more than all the others.

Off season would be better. People aren't mowing as much, new models coming in, gotta move these refridgerators -- oh, mowers.

My uneducated guess would be fall. Don't know where you're at, but there will be close-out sales on them because winter's coming up, and who mows their lawn in the winter?

Except my wacky neighbors who mow their lawn when it's wet out.
